What are you passionate about?
I am passionate about helping people. I believe that in any industry helping someone in any way shape of form is truly giving and worth while.
From where does the inspiration for your job inspiration come?
My inspiration for my job as a guest care employee is to make everyone day to look beautiful run smoothly and well. I love greeting guests with a smile and a warm welcome to give them a good start their journey here at Savvy Salon and day Spa. As a guest care employee we are the first department a guest encounters and the last department the guest experiences. It is our job to start and end their day here at Savvy with a sense happiness, love, relaxation, and warmth.
What do you like most about working at Savvy?
What I like most about working at Savvy is the team atmosphere between my team members and myself. I like how we all work as a cohesive unit, helping one another strive to our optimal work ethic to get the job done everyday. The family feeling between our team here at Savvy Salon and Day Spa is unique and something a lot of businesses lack.
What service is your “specialty”?
I would have to say that my "specialty" falls in to the same category as my inspiration. My specialty is my want to help people in anyway possible. I think it is important to show people that you care and that they matter because at the end of the day everyone deserves to be cared for and complimented. Everyone is special in their own way!
Any personal comments or favorite quotes?
My favorite thing to do in my spare time is travel! Having two parents working for the State Department means that I travel a lot. I have lived in Bogota, Colombia; Rome, Italy; and Vienna, Austria making it easy to travel to different parts of the world. My dream is to keep traveling and see parts of the world I still have not seen. In the same breath I want to travel the United States more, because having lived overseas almost my whole life I never got to see things around the US besides beaches and cities on the East Coast. I believe traveling is important because it completely broadens your perspective on life.
My favorite quote is one that I created by mixing one quote from Hellen Keller and Confusious, it goes "Everything has beauty, but not everyone can see it. It is something felt and heard through the heart".
